But the strangest thing is that Judas Priest and Iron Maiden don't really sound that alike. Whats the difference? Well Iron Maiden's music sounds a lot more complex and varied than that of JP.

By SamboraRocks86October 11, in Flamefest. Boards have been a little slow after all. While I'm content and have enjoyed what Maiden has done for the last 10 years since the return of Bruce and Adrian I haven't liked what Jovi have done since These Days.
Because what better way is there for a band to burnish their credentials as serious artists than to put an over-sized cartoon zombie on all of their album covers and then pay a man in a rubber zombie suit to prance all over the stage during their live shows? It sure has helped them to capture the prized "year olds with Down's Syndrome" demographic, though. Gimmick bands are by definition terrible, and Maiden's gimmick is perhaps the most threadbare of them all.
Mark knows the name of this episode is not gonna win him a lot of fans, but he's gotta be honest about the music business. Mark believes Radiohead sucks as a band. He feels they were shoved down peoples throats as a darling in the 's and they never looked back.
Iron Maiden unknown. A band that needs to have three guitarists to help them not suck. Too bad this doesn't work. Iron Maiden is for pussies who don't know hardcore.
Most of the bands pay a lot of money to be on the Ozzfestthey get paid next to nothing. The whole way it's being portrayed as being some kind of altruistic holiday for all the bands is absolute nonsense, it's complete bullshit. Most of the bands are there because they paid to be there. That's the way it's run.
